DHC's DCC Section

Welcome to the section where I hope you'll find some basic, common sense answers to your questions regarding DCC. Destination Train Center specializes in Digitrax digital command control systems, we also carry North Coast Engineering (NCE) too.

Under the Tips & Tricks button you'll find some information on using Digitrax. Under Selecting is a Q&A sheet I use in DCC clinics at various NMRA meets that I ask you to ask of yourself. The answers will help steer you towards the proper DCC system for you.

Wiring has both general DCC wiring tips as well as some specific information such as wiring DS54 accessory decoders to run turnouts both manually and by computer. I also will talk about using the BD1 block detector as well.

As with most things in this site, if you have a good tip to share, please email me with your tips. You will receive credit on the site for your contribution. I know many of you have learned about different tricks or run into some "undocumented" problems and have learned the work around. Let me know so others can benefit from our experience.
